Creating a work-based learning programme for ENGIN
This Module 2 project reports on ENGIN’s creation of a new WBL Level 7 programme to help work-based adult learners achieve ‘Chartered Engineer’ status on completion of the three-year part time course. As this is one of the University’s only WBL programmes, Peter has compiled a brief ‘How to’ guide to help others in the University consider the multiple opportunities and challenges facing the academic team, the professional students, their workplace mentors and professional bodies in setting up and running similar initiatives.
