Common principles

2.1 There are common principles that shape all placement learning opportunities at Cardiff University:

 

• A positive tripartite relationship between student, university and placement provider;

•  Clarity of information and understanding by each party of their roles and responsibilities;

• Effective programme design in which periods of placement learning have defined learning outcomes, are appropriately assessed and contribute to the overall aims of the programme.
