In Questionmark, creating questions and assessments are two entirely seperate processes.  You create the questions first, and then when creating your assessments, you chose which question you want to draw in. William Hook An exciting new development in technology to support learning, teaching and assessment is being rolled out at Cardiff University.

This Module 2 project explores the opportunities and challenges of engaging diverse cohorts of adult learners in module assessment and reports on a cross team (26 staff) initiative turning theory into practice. Preliminary results suggest improved learner retention and assessment completion rates and internal staff consensus / dialogue about the role and challenges of assessment.

The participants undertaking this project have all entered HE from careers in private and public services. Despite their expertise in professional fields, they struggled to embed employability skills development within the curricula of their HE programmes. We recommend identifying and supporting practices which emphasise the tangible benefits to students of exceptional performance during the course of the degree. It is important to focus as much attention on challenging high-achieving students as with supporting weaker students. BIOSI (APRE) 2008/09 Prof. Bernard Moxham, Dr Stephen Rutherford

Self and peer assessment can be administratively complex. The PeerMark tool manages the administration for you, providing that the assignment that will be peer-assessed is submitted electronically as a TurnitinUK assignment. It allows for saving and sharing peer assessment questions, and provides fine grained control of who will assess which assignments.
